Well, this journal was definitely needed. An update!

As some of you may already know, I had surgery recently on the 22nd May, which I have been slowly recovering from. The surgery was laparoscopic and a few small incisions were made in my lower abdomen--including one actually in/through the belly button--to see if Endometriosis was actually present. Good news: the surgery went well without any problems or hiccups. Bad news is that she did not find any Endo tissue as we both suspected. So...I still actually have this terrible pain problem related to cycle and now extra scar tissue around the area to boot. She has now referred me to Oxford Hospital, where I will have to attend the Chronic Pain clinic for my pelvic pain, since when these phases do happen I end up straight on a strong dose of codeine painkillers and they alone make me so incoherent and out-of-it that I'm on the verge of losing consciousness when I take them. Sure they help the pain and are the only pain relief that actually DO something because the agony is so bad, but it has severe side effects for me and the next step up to that is morphine. Ibuprofen or paracetamol do diddly squat! So in the end I am off work anyway due to the codeine backlash; working in a Pharmacy with confidential info and giving medical/medicine advice in that state would literally be a disaster!
I am a slow healer, so my stitches have only just started to feel okay, although standing all day long like I did this weekend for my first time back at work actually hurt somewhat due to standing stretching my lower stomach muscles straighter and, in turn, pulling at my stitches. Yet I feel I am doing well for now! Spent yesterday mostly asleep due to the long weekend back.

On another note: I do have some pictures in progress, might have them done by the end of the week--they are more detailed ones.
I shall also be making a new commission journal and opening up 3 slots a month (or 4 depending on their detail level,) for them because I feel I have perfected my skills enough to be dead sure what the prices are, although for the most detailed ones it would be a higher price naturally. I am deciding to open them up again since there is a trip I am actually going to at the beginning of July, despite my other health conditions making me nervous about going. Anyway, I will be going to Poland to visit a good friend of mine! I'm excited, yet the fact I have been off work a few weeks means my funds for the trip are shorter than I would like to be honest until my next pay date AFTER the trip (not helpful XD.) I am also considering opening a PaypalMe page, so if anyone really likes my work and supports me, instead of a commission that has a set price, you can donate any amount of money you would like just to support me, be it £1/$1/1 Euro or £5, etc. That might be best since even though I have considered Patreon, I know that due to my health, work and other factors, I may not be able to get so much stuff done in a month, plus I know artists are currently having a major issue with the site for one main reason: people offer to pay the full amount at the end of the month, take away everything from the higher tiers or whatever they pledged, then immediately take themselves off the Patreon and thus their money with them! This is both rude and absolutely appalling! They basically take everything and pay nothing, proceeding to upload those special Patreon awards on places like Pinterest or Tumbler without the artist's consent--defeating the point of it being special whilst leaving the artist with no financial income for their hard work! What out of any of this is morally correct? None.
Right, let me know what you guys think of all this and if you have Patreon, have you had a similar issue as described above?
Thank you all so much for still sticking with me despite everything! It means ever so much, and I honestly cannot thank you enough for how amazing you have all been. Apologies for the silence, but I have been here, checking messages, uploading an artwork that I was working on while recovering from the operation, etc. Always checking on here everyday even if I am silent.
Hope you are all well and doing alright. I know for quite a few it is the major exam period, hence I wish the best of luck to you too.
Keep being amazing!

Treating Someone To 1 month Core For New Year!
Yep! Doing another completely free giveaway if you didn't get it in November's one and this time, entering for a friend too is welcome--just follow the rules. There won't be art from either of my accounts for quite some time as real life has been...incredibly difficult to be honest. BUT! Will still do giveaways and things like this as perhaps it will brighten up someone else's life right now. All of DA just doesn't seem active much anymore in general anyway. All giveaways will be on my @Make-It-Mico account now. My December ONE Month Core Giveaway now ends Dec 30th. Enter now for an easy chance to get one and try it out:
Check It Out!
As well as new art on this account, my 2nd account also has new pieces as well. Please follow both my accounts if you haven't already, cheers~
My Plans For This Account
Sonicgirl582 has a lot of weight behind it. Yes, not just artwork, but story-wise too, even if they never got a chance to be finished. To me, this is my most well-known name! My key account Make-It-Mico is lesser known...but it has more personal meaning to me, including original artworks and patterns. This account here has been around a LOOOOONG time. Inactive as I have been, truthfully, I have actually been here every day! Normally it was chatting with someone in particular, she knows who she is. (wink) We recently in the last few years changed to instant messaging on FB; that was when my activity lessened even more. To which, I apologise for. I often feel I cannot draw as good anymore...maybe it's wrong, but I feel I have lost my touch somehow. So, what will happen with this account will be as follows: It will always be a fanart account~ That will never change! I am still here, after all. And to be fair I draw more fanart than most other things--stuff you guys have never seen.
Happy New Year 2021
My Personal Ramble In about 30 minutes here in Britain, the new year 2021 will start. Let's be real here: we all know and understand deep down that time is not linear in random lines. It's constantly a moving cycle and although we assigned New Year as a date for us to refresh, we should also consider the fact we must be thinking about changes and what we want from life ANYWAY, regardless of the date. We humans created the concept of time in terms of 'dates' and hours, it is also that power that forms the idea of birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas and more happening 'each year' rather than it being a one off thing in life in general. These things bring us joy. That is an important thing! Sometimes having a date is essential for people to change their moods or feel excited for something--it creates markers in our lives. New Years has always been something for me that is a bit 50/50. Because to me, it's not a new start: time flows continuously, not in set measurements for our
