The votes for Mario won it this week's Feature Journal! How these weekly features work: it starts with your vote on the topics via poll, I then pick the highest voted, next I feature 4 of my favourite artists on DA in the topic chosen--each featuring 3, 4, or 5 pieces. Please spread the word about these 'Feature Journals' I do, since there will be another poll for the next journal in a week's time. More votes = more competition and more variety!
But that's not all! In addition to this, I also leave TWO empty spots at the end. Can you guess what they're for? They are for you of course! If you have artwork related to the topic of the Feature Journal this week, you can get the honour of being placed alongside the amazing artists I have already featured. However, there's a catch: the two artists must have at LEAST 3 artworks in the Featured topic. And if you are, indeed, the two who are chosen to be featured, I would also like you to feature five of MY pieces (anything from my traditional or digital folder) in a feature journal of your own: one feature in return for another. To take part, you merely comment on this journal saying you want a place. ^^
There are only two slots my lovelies--so the two will either be randomly picked, or first come first served!

WhiteWings has a very beautiful style and a fantastic use of storytelling via colour, tone and composition. She created a heart-warming story for 'Super Paper Mario' called "Across Space and Time," where she beautifully told the story of how Count Bleck and Tippi met through a series of wonderful pictures rather than words! Her talent for illustration of such magnitude is what I adore about her art, since you can truly feel the emotions she wishes to convey. Seriously, take a look at her ASaT picture story in her gallery and read the descriptions for each image.
THEBOURGYMAN:
He creates memorable and fantastic comics for the Mario series, with his most recognisable one being the hilarious "The 3 Little Princesses." His cartoon style and great use of script creates a believable, funny, and brilliant story. In addition, the lovely bright colours within his work always brings a smile to my face: it bursts with a cheeriness that matches the comedic undertones of his style. Definitely one of my favourite comic creators out there.

Another talented artist with a very flowing, vibrant style. His use of colour and lighting to display mood and theme is very spot-on, and I particularly adore the first image I have displayed of Rosalina v.s. Peach. It possesses such a wonderful composition as well as accurately displaying a sense of fast movement/action. Overall, I find his soft and colourful style very appealing and easy on the eyes--love it.

Her series of "Ask Super Paper Mario" is one of my fave Mario series out there, despite the fact she no longer does them anymore. The simplistic style used for the comics gave them a unique, memorable appearance, as well as making them more hilarious. They are simple yet divine in their own right. Whenever I need a good laugh, I always return to them--they are perfectly drawn and displayed. An amazing artist who uses simplicity to her advantage and creates fantastic work.
SLOT 1) NEOZ7:
A wonderful artist with a broad range of beautiful styles! Pixel, Paper Mario, Dream Team, she can draw via all of these styles as well as her own unique style. With a great love for the Mario villain known as Antasma, expect many pictures of him in her gallery. An amazing artist with colourful, lively, and fun artwork. Please check her out. ^^
SLOT 2) YAMITHETRIXTER:
Someone with a generous heart (since she actually asked for her friend, NeoZ7, to be featured here,) with highly cute artwork. Her sketchy style adds to her uniqueness, as well as allowing the colours to form her pieces rather than the details. A lovely person with lovely art. Thanks so much for being the first person to ask for a feature on one of these journals.

My Plans For This Account
Sonicgirl582 has a lot of weight behind it. Yes, not just artwork, but story-wise too, even if they never got a chance to be finished. To me, this is my most well-known name! My key account Make-It-Mico is lesser known...but it has more personal meaning to me, including original artworks and patterns. This account here has been around a LOOOOONG time. Inactive as I have been, truthfully, I have actually been here every day! Normally it was chatting with someone in particular, she knows who she is. (wink) We recently in the last few years changed to instant messaging on FB; that was when my activity lessened even more. To which, I apologise for. I often feel I cannot draw as good anymore...maybe it's wrong, but I feel I have lost my touch somehow. So, what will happen with this account will be as follows: It will always be a fanart account~ That will never change! I am still here, after all. And to be fair I draw more fanart than most other things--stuff you guys have never seen.
Happy New Year 2021
My Personal Ramble In about 30 minutes here in Britain, the new year 2021 will start. Let's be real here: we all know and understand deep down that time is not linear in random lines. It's constantly a moving cycle and although we assigned New Year as a date for us to refresh, we should also consider the fact we must be thinking about changes and what we want from life ANYWAY, regardless of the date. We humans created the concept of time in terms of 'dates' and hours, it is also that power that forms the idea of birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas and more happening 'each year' rather than it being a one off thing in life in general. These things bring us joy. That is an important thing! Sometimes having a date is essential for people to change their moods or feel excited for something--it creates markers in our lives. New Years has always been something for me that is a bit 50/50. Because to me, it's not a new start: time flows continuously, not in set measurements for our

For the empty slot thing I have a question...is it okay that I ask it not for myself but for a friend of mine?
If not then just taking the shot for me
